SPIE announced on Nov. 4 that 21 products across seven categories reached the 2027 Prism Awards finals. The Cameras and Imaging Systems finalists are Bruker Nano's xView Module, PlanOpSim's MetaStack and Q3D Sensing's AuraGO. Sensor finalists include PhoenixZ's Yellow Finch, Singular Photonics' Litavis and Wooptix's SEBI RT1000. Winners are scheduled to be announced Feb. 3, 2027 at Photonics West; these companies have not yet won the awards.

Analysis: The finalist list is a useful map of commercial imaging and sensing approaches, but nomination is not independent evidence of performance. Buyers should compare published specifications, validation methods and deployment readiness product by product.
