Thypoch Adds 100mm T1.9 to Complete Seven-Lens Simera-C Set

Thypoch announced the Simera-C 100mm T1.9 on Oct. 23 as the seventh lens in its full-frame cine-prime series. The company specifies an 11-element, eight-group optical design, a 16-blade iris, 210-degree focus travel and Sony E- or Leica M-mount versions. Shipping is scheduled to start in late October, with regional availability varying; this is coverage of the Oct. 23 announcement, not a new Oct. 26 launch.

GLOBAL IMAGING BRIEF

Why it matters

Analysis: A matching 100mm option extends the set's framing range without switching to another lens family. Production teams should check mount adaptation, focus calibration and inter-lens rendering consistency with actual samples before committing to a set.
