ZEISS Plans Aatma, Panoptes 65 and Horizon Lens-Character Sessions at Camerimage

Cinematography World reported on Oct. 30 that ZEISS plans guided lens-character sessions at Torun Camerimage on Nov. 9-13, comparing Aatma, Panoptes 65 and Horizon Anamorphic under staged lighting and backgrounds. ZEISS also lists a Nov. 10 seminar on Horizon's interchangeable look sets and lens-data workflow. These are demonstrations of previously introduced lenses, not Nov. 1 product launches or independent performance tests.

GLOBAL IMAGING BRIEF

Why it matters

Analysis: A controlled side-by-side setup can help cinematographers assess flare, contrast, focus falloff and handling across lens families. Rental decisions still require tests on the intended camera, format and lighting conditions.
